Meet the Quilter - Kathryn Fuller
I have over 50 years sewing experience and have been quilting since 1992. In late 2003, my husband and I moved from San Diego, California to Tijeras, New Mexico. I promptly ordered my 12' Gammill Optimum Plus from The Quilted Rose in San Diego, California. It arrived in January, 2004, and I haven't stopped quilting since!
From 1999 to 2003, while in San Diego, I volunteered my time at Rosie's Calico Cupboard, making quilts for the kids at Camp Reach for the Sky (for children with life-threatening illnesses). Since January 2004, I've shifted my support to providing my services as a long arm quilter. I also volunteer my quilting services for my two local quilt guilds’ community service projects

Here I am, hard at work on a quilt for our bed (more pictures in the Gallery). My dear husband, Daryl, created the graphic design I'm using on the Pattern Port, a handy device that allows "pattern" quilting from the front of the machine.
In the summer of 2004, I had the wonderful experience of teaching our granddaughter, Taylor (age 9), the joys of quilting. She kindly
allowed me to do the machine quilting for her using a variegated thread of her choice.
